Our Story
The Dream Behind Dastkaar
Dastkaar Academy of Arts & Design was born from a mother’s lifelong dream, a dream to uplift women through meaningful education and skill development. For years, she believed that true change begins when women and every individual are given the chance to learn, grow, and earn with dignity.
Her vision was simple yet powerful: create an institute where every woman feels valued, supported, and capable of building her own future. A space where knowledge leads to confidence, skills lead to opportunities, and opportunities lead to empowerment.
With this purpose, Dastkaar was established not just as an academy, but as a movement for social change. Today, the mission continues with the same passion, now carried forward by the next generation.

Founder & Chairperson
An educationist and a visionary dedicated to women’s empowerment, she founded Dastkaar with the dream of creating a learning platform where women can gain skills, confidence, and financial independence. Her mission is to build a stronger community through education and opportunity.
Hira Babar Aryan
Co-Founder & CEO
A Textile and Fashion Designer, entrepreneur, and mentor with years of experience in TVET Institutions. She leads all academic, operational, and creative directions at Dastkaar, ensuring every student receives quality training and practical exposure. Her passion is to transform skills into sustainable careers and her leadership continues to shape the values and direction of the academy
Saba Ahmed
Program Coordinator
She oversees program operations, coordinates workshops and events, and ensures seamless execution of all courses. With her background in stitching instruction, Saba brings practical expertise and meticulous planning to every initiative.
Alveena Rajput
Marketing Executive
With a strong background in textile and arts & crafts, Alveena leads our marketing efforts with creativity and insight. She also serves as an instructor, sharing her skills and passion for design and handmade crafts.
